The R.S.A. was set up at the formation of The Royal Corps of Signals in 1920.Its purpose, is to promote the general welfare and well being of members, both serving and retired and also to foster comradeship and morale among its members.
The “local” branch of the R.S.A. is based at Berwick and is open to all serving and ex-serving members of R Signals whether N.S. regular or T.A. They also welcome members of other Regiments and corps to join them as associate members (many of their associate members have served with Signals units during their service.)

Belford Community Woodland
Volunteers (anyone welcome) meet on the first Saturday in the month between 1000 and 1200 (April to October). There are plenty of jobs to get involved with; from light pruning, litter picking, bulb planting, general maintenance to weed clearance.
For those who are not able to attend the woodland, we are always looking for people with green fingers who could grow native woodland plants from seed and look after them until they are ready for planting in the woodland.
